I had communicated with a couple of local cachers and one, Topik, had told me that one of his caches was close to the ship pier in Gdynia and in case I couldn't find that one, he put one out in downtown Gdansk. (I later learned that he has 6 finds, 3 hides)<BR/>We apparently docked at the wrong pier, the cache was over a mile away as the crow flies and close to two miles by road. I considered a cab but out tour material warned against doing that in Poland.<BR/>In town, I hiked as fast as I could the 3/4 miles to the cache and searched in vain under the watchful eye of some locals. When I got home I learned that the coordinates I had been given were 500 feet off. Topik corrected them and added a couple of explicit hints 2 days after we were there.
