Dylan called this morning! It was so nice to talk to him. They were on the airplane to go back to Miami, so we couldn't talk very long. Just long enough to hear some interesting stories about their visit to Pittsburgh. Thanks for calling, Dylan!
Off to Bo Tangles at 10 a.m. for a perm - it seems like I just had one. The last one didn't "take" too well. I had a lot of fun talking to Colleen - she's getting married on Saturday, and she was walking 5 feet off the ground. I think I heard every plan that she has for the wedding. I felt like I was part of the wedding party! Anyway, she earned herself a big tip/wedding present!
Met Dick at Mom's house - we had an appointment with John to sign him up as our listing agent. While we were sitting there, Joan from the Estate Sale people came in. So Joan and John had a chance to meet each other and to coordinate some things. John's going to have some flyers about the house available at the Sale. There should be quite a number of people going through the house those 2 days, and maybe one of them will want to buy it!
Dick found Dad's U of M letter sweater downstairs. We were thrilled to find it. It's in quite good condition. I'm going to try to find an archival sweater box and archival tissue to keep it in. I think it should go to Jim, who can then pass it on to Dan and Jace - keep it in the male line of the family. I think Dad would like that.
I've been sending and receiving a lot of emails for the Family Tree. It is growing and growing. There are going to be 3 big weddings this summer - so I think the tribe will keep increasing as time goes by.
