Dick, Laurie and I intended to have lunch at Sailor's Return. A wait of an hour turned us away, and off we went to Mulligan's - a superior fall-back option in anybody's book :)

Lunch was followed by some caching in this splendiferous area - a great day for a drive-about. We needed a cache for March 1, and we got 4 ! (With Laurie's help!
Twin Rivers Park was the big hit of the day - a marvelous park on an absolutely perfect day :) The breeze was heavenly, we saw an eagle, we saw a massive kite, and many, many boats out on the bright blue water.

| Today was a beautiful day in this park which we haven't visited since before there was Geocaching. It was 74 degrees with a light breeze and not a cloud in the sky. What we did see in the sky was an eagle soaring high overhead until he spotted a fish. Then he swooped down and grabbed the first course of his dinner. We were teamed up with Mrs Sharkie today and after reading the past logs, we decided to go for #2 and leave #1 until after the log is replaced. Made the find, signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for adding to our fun today. |

| We had a DNF on this guy a year ago. Today we were out with Sharkie Crew exploring old haunts while spending our first day of March in our new winter home in Florida. Back up north it is overcast and 10, here it was 74 and not a cloud to be seen. As we drove up I decided to give it another shot and, using my iPad mini, walked right up to it. That seems a little weird to me because last year I was using my Garmin 62st which everyone knows has a better antenna but it had me off by at least 50 feet. Oh well, I love the mini. Mrs Bend signed the log for both teams and I replaced the cache where I found it. Thanks for adding to our enjoyment of this fantastic day. |

| We had already filled in today's blank on our caching calender but the day was so nice that we decided to just continue to ride and explore. Thank goodness we were with Mrs Sharkie because once again she spotted something that I had overlooked. The micro-maven, Mrs Bend signed the log for both teams and Mrs Sharkie replaced as found. Mr Bend was just the chauffeur on this one. |

Wow! Another beautiful day! The temp was 74 with a light and very pleasant breeze. We teamed up with Sharkie Crew while Zoran was in a tennis tournament. We had hoped to have lunch at The Sailors Return in Stuart and look at the Nina and the Pinta docked in the marina. We found the wait time to be about an hour so we passed on ship watching for another day and went after caches instead. Because of the weather in Michigan, although we have been at this activity for over 10 years, we had never found a cache on March 1st.
This series is on our list because our grandson (Zoroan) turned 16 in December and we met the cache owners and had a nice chat at this years Cachapalooza. Waited out a muggle, made the find, signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the fun and for adding to the joyous start of our first March in Florida. |

Nik Stauskas (Mississauga, Ontario/St. Mark's School [Mass.]) scored 21 points and shot 5-of-8 from beyond the arc, helping the University of Michigan men's basketball team (No. 16 AP, No. 16 ESPN/USA Today) defeat Minnesota by a score of 66-56 on Saturday night (March 1) inside Crisler Center. The victory clinches a share of the Big Ten title with two games remaining in the regular season.
